After finishing the delivery of zeolite samples to China for some basic characterization and a simple disscusion with a graduate student in Perking for Gaussian calcaution, I started to synthesize MOF(V) materials via a microwave approach.
Here I appreciate all the help from a retired professor in chemistry for providing the synthesizer, as well as the student in chemistry helping me set up the synthesizer. The XRD characteriazation demonstrated the product is MIL-47 MOF. But the patterns seems a bit different from that in reference.[1] The microwave shortens the synthesis time to 15 min. It is amazing.
